For everyone who has followed the ‘Confucio’ saga so far:
This week has been very difficult for me, and my spirit has been broken. On the positive side, I view this as a huge wake up call. Regardless of my alleged accusation, I have not handled my responses or myself appropriately. For that, I apologize.
Like anybody else in there mid-20s, I’m not perfect and I have made my share of mistakes. Unfortunately in this industry, emotional knee-jerk reactions do not sit well alongside the media and social media outlets. This means my mistakes are there for the world to see. I’m faced with allowing many strangers to judge me for my actions, which is something many people my age will never have to experience. I’ve been forced to learn a life lesson the hard way in the public eye, and it’s completely brutal.
I regret letting my negative emotions get the best of me. Some of my responses in the past and also recently may come off as immature and disrespectful. Sometimes they were. I admit it and I feel stupid. Other times, I assure you this comes from being extremely passionate. Unfortunately, sometimes passion over takes you and it’s hard to get your message across in the right words. I do not harbor ill will towards others.
To those I’ve let down and those who have lost respect for me: I am sorry I let you down. My desires within techno music aren’t about fame or money. I don’t need either of those things. However, I am not afraid to admit that your support and respect is important to me. I’ve lost that now. I will come back one day, and I truly hope you’ll give me the chance to earn back your respect. I want to prove that despite these recent circumstances, I am fully capable of being the man and producer you thought I might be.
To those who have chosen to stand by my side: your support means so much to me. I am very grateful you see something in me. I promise I will do my best not to let you down. Thank you for believing in me. Thank you for understanding, and perhaps being a bit compassionate.
It is obvious that P.R. isn’t my forte. As of now, I need to step back and stay silent. I want to reflect and learn from this. I need to put all of my focus solely back into the music. I feel I do have something original and unique to offer. I’ll find a way to prove it to you. In the mean time, I hope you will honor my request for silence and put this to rest. I will not return any further messages regarding this topic. Thank you.
