Iris 2 Giveaway

Post by victer »

Beatport is giving away free copies of Iris 2 from Izotope.

Tbh I have no experience with this product, so I don't know if it's worth it or not but it's free so I guess it is !

https://hal.pluginboutique.com/articles ... d=29703247

follow these steps to get your copies, be prepared to register at plugin boutique and izotope.

the coupon is IRISBP. gives a 100% discount on iris 2.

Not sure this is useful as I have no experience with Iris 2 but I thought I'd share anyway.

I think this has been free for a very long time. Have been using it for a couple of years. To be honest, this synth is amazing. Can do things nothing else can. Is CPU hungry though, depending on how many of the sample slots you use. Incredible synth.

Bastard. Bought it recently when it was heavily discounted. Great synth.

Thx for posting this.
I've checked some video about Iris2 and it looked like something I didn't have in my toolbox.
Downloaded and installed; sound very good.

Nice one, thanks! Had seen it in my mail, but didn't feel like going through the procedure for yet another synth, until I saw this post. Had a look on YT and it's indeed nice. I still have the last version of Alchemy installed, but hadn't used it in ages although I loved it, and there are quite a few similarities. So it's good to have a modern, supported alternative.
First hand rolled patch I made was already something fresh and unexpected! At the moment I have only downloaded the 'Abstract' pack, didn't want to fill up the HD drive with yet another 10+ GB never to use sample pool. Are there any must haves from the other packs?
