Oi subsekt, sorry I'm not around atm because I have to prepare our move. Me and the fam will leave Berlin in a few months.

Dumb question, how can I watch the stream? I never used twitch. Do I have to install the app? Would love to see what bad ol' Steve comes up with.

About the question just click the link steve provided and you should be able to watch, the only thing tho is that the link was created on a mobile so make sure you the the initial "m" in the link so you get the normal laptop view!

Thanks, the link was obvious. But when I click the link it always says "an error occurred", hence I'm asking if I need the app or a password or something.

Hey Pedro, we're moving to lake Bodensee in the south of Germany, near the swiss border. From a 2 room flat in shithole Berlin to a giant house on the countryside is quite a big step.

Berlin is just getting ridiculous and isn't the same city it was once. It's so superficial and thinks it's the greatest place on earth, which might be true when you're young and want to get shitfaced every day,though this "party city" is becoming a parody of it self. It's the techno version of Mallorca "Ballermann".

But for family matters (school, payable flats etc.) it's complete crap.

But yeah, in our house, finally I can build a proper studio and can get back to music soon.

Ok, here is the standard link

I will backup everything to youtube as well and will link when I have them, I`ve had a few channels want to take this up, Technoscene and Darkfloor so I`m not entirely sure what is going on fully, but until someone comes to me with some solid plan, I will continue streaming on my accounts.

There is no further gofundme for those asking, the initial thing was just to help me get the kit, which I have. I may at some point switch to a podcast mic,or expand to 2 or 3 cameras (especially when I get on to discussing Live PA methods and philosophy) but I prefer the lavalier mic, so for the moment everything is fine.

From 2morro, everything is free, for the subsekt specific shows I do once per month I need to work out some subsekt exclusive link I can use, but again, there will be no charge.


Basically this is all free, I see no need to ask for money unless doing this starts cutting in my to job hours in the mastering room.

I can of course stream to youtube, but it comes with all the problems youtube introduces ie censorship etc, and I will speak how a speak, and profanity is like air to me.


So friday the plan still remains, meat and two veg techno, attempting to start and finish a tune in 2 hours and get through all the basics to make that kind of tune.

I never play with audio clips and reminded me to get into it as it's so flexible (I always drop them straight into a sampler out of habit).

Btw, had problems streaming through the twitch app.
Black screen and audio only on a samsung/android, it seems to be fairly common. Don't see any solutions to it so far. Runs through the web browser fine though.

And yes, hope you can eliminate the crackles. Brings back memories of a poor soundcard I once had (it turns out it was actually that they had stopped developing the drivers...)

Really enjoyed tonight's stream. It didn't work on my tablet so had to frantically download twitch on my PC and it wouldn't let me comment during the show, for some reason. Will have to sort that out.

@33 min. whatever that ice cream man in selling, he's perfectly in sync with your tune!
@1h25 you took a path with that Legend synth, and minutes later the comb filter took the track in a completely new direction... crossroads... my personal taste would have guided me into the other direction (the arp synth).

Enjoyed watching, tried checking it live but was caught up with other stuff. It's ninja level really, pretty much every thing you try, you get it to work, even though this is the bread and butter stuff as you say.

Would like to see some broken beat stuff, a kind of grid-off approach. It's fun usually, got into it doing hip-hop type stuff, pulling hats and snares around against off-kilter sample loops. That's the kinda thing I like messing with.

Crackles are def down too on this one ..

Also, don't know if I'm right saying this but I don't think you need the app, you can just stream it thru a browser, live or recorded, once you have the link ..

don't know if this is of any help, never used it myself, but this got mentioned a few times in another board I visit, and users were quite happy with this free program to mix internal/external sound sources on system level. thought it might be useful...

On the stream Steve mentioned that he always uses an eq at the very end of a chain. Im interested to know what the theory is behind that method.
