The official encoderaudio thread
Hi Guys,
Let me use this trhead to introduce my new stuff to the community.
My devices are designed specially for techno / experimental electronic music production, for Ableton Live.
Website location : www.encoderaudio.com
Some of our best products :
CONTROL
These are sequencers and devices designed to control things inside and/or outside Live.
Lambda
Our flagship sequencer, super advanced and super cool looking
Chord Memory
A really simple and quick device to create chords in second!
PolyRandom
Our flagship drum sequencer. Version 4 is coming!
Turing Machine
Direct port of the well known Turing Machine eurorack module!
I've asked Tom about this, he was so kind he'd share his original PD patches as well.
MODIFY
These are our effect processors
Spektral
Based the mighty 296 Buchla, of course it is a reduced version, yet, really really powerful.
Ferro
A simple looking but really deep cassette simulator.
Since I like the touch of the tape, I've triedall of them and I'm proud that Ferro is one of the best trash cassette simulator
MultiPan
To be honest, it is a really underrated device, I really should promote this much more...
A multichannel device, with indepentend control of the selected frequence range.
SIGNAL
These are our synths and samplers
Luminist
A Granulator like device, designed for background atmospheres and freezing parts of a sample.
Fortrek
Emulation of the 4 track recorders, like those 80s looking Tascams and Fostexes.
API
These devices could control Live parameters
Vortex
A 4 corner vortex, to control 4 parameters at the same time, with Mira mirror support.
KR
Keyboard random...if the defined note comes in, a random value will be generated...
SOUNDS
From this year (2019) we have sample packs in our product line
Cassette
A lot of noise from cassettes, sampled a bit more than 200 different tapes.
Impulse responses included as well!
Magnetism
Noise, noise and noise!
Feel free to post your questions, ideas, suggestions here, also, you can PM me anytime!

A live set by Metrist, recorded for the Noods radio, Bristol.
Polyrandom was used as the heart of the set!

Re: The official encoderaudio thread
Just released!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QUuryTrprMk
http://www.encoderaudio.com/sounds.html
Vinyl is simply the most detailed vinyl record noise library.
It has all the record noises you'll ever need!
We've sampled our own record collection, with two different turntables (an audiophile one for the vintage records and a DJ style one for the 12" club records).
The content of the package :
- 768 lead-in grooves
- 705 lead-out grooves
- 761 locked grooves
- 60 dead waxes
- 415 other noises
- 173 vinyl noise drum samples
- 119 vinyl noise single cycle waveform samples for your sampler
Almost 3000 samples, around 4 Gigabytes uncompressed!

Re: The official encoderaudio thread
I was looking for a Turing Machine for my Eurorack today but then i remembered this thread and bought yours. Works like a charm together with Ableton CV Tools and saved me a lot of coins. I can only recommend these devices.
Thanks....
Thanks....

My pleasure mate!
Actually, if you check the AC encoder device, there is a really small circuit, you can build, if you don't have a DC coupled soundcard.

Re: The official encoderaudio thread
That's cool, but as soon as CV Tools dropped I switched soundcards. CV Tools was the ignition to go eurorack for me because of its tight integration with Live and I must say I'm impressed.

Re: The official encoderaudio thread
Indeed!
CV tools (and rumors, before CV tools) made me stop developing CV related things.
I knew, if Ableton jumps in, indi developers can't really compete with them
...and to be honest, if I can't make it better, I do not even bother. I trust them, if it works, it works, no need to re-invent the wheel

Re: The official encoderaudio thread
Let me introduce you tIe :
tIe is our newest take on a max for live sequencer, designed for experimental techno music producers.
In tIe, you set the barriers for your sequence, like, lowest note, highest note, lowest velocity, highest velocity.
After that, you hit the full random button and tie creates you 12 different note sequences and 12 different velocity sequences. You can choose the one you like, you can lock it SHIFT + click, so tIe won't generate a new one into that slot. Then, you can alter the sequences with random note lengths, cycling and you can set a comparator as well.
As always, all parameters have hints in the lower right corner, if you click on the logo, numbers will show up to make controls more precise. SHIFT + click on the logo for support.

What do you make of the Behringer 303.. any good?
Have you ever had a chance to try the real thing or clones? Will watch the vid later.

Nope, never had the chance to tweak the real-deal.
I own an MB33, but since the Behri had the "two-button-push-for-a-random-pattern" trick, it is way better

Sounds good, although, the filter could've go a bit lower if it is fully closed but meh, I can live with that and I'm pretty sure someone will mod it asap!
On the other hand, I'll totally keep the MB33 since I can sequence it from the Behri. It is amazing how powerful the sequencer in this thing.

Introducing benDr!
youtu.be/nI8mB20ljSU
benDr is a very simple and fun device, which breaths some "human error" into your "dead-precise" MIDI.
It generates random pitch and modulation wheel movements every time a when a new note comes in.
You can control the amount of the pitch and mod. wheel random amounts and the width of the bending.
...also, you can go crazy with it!
