Your favourite techno labels

Post by Siete »

Title says it all, what are the fave imprints of the leftfielders round here?

Two I can recommend that are not very well known are Several Minor Promises and Total Black

Poverty is Violence

Other than that it's mostly artists I follow, I'm not finding many labels with vision and voice.

Second ilian tape and western mineral (not really techno though)

Seems like most labels I check nowadays are small artist-run operations. Maybe the classic label is slowly disappearing?

Used to love semantica a while ago but their last work is kinda weak. Token has some great releases out.

THEM is great. Just got Forsaken by Scalameriya and Coffin Dodge from Ansome on vynil and the overall quality is outstanding. The most beautiful sleeves I've ever seen, I just want to go home and stare at them into oblivion.

:? :? :? :?
I know there is that whole shitstorm with Beddewela and his Golden Rule EP but other than that I quite like the label selection and aesthetics. Shlømo, Tim Tama, Yan Cook, Introversion, Cleric all had releases that I very much enjoyed through ARTS.
Is there any other particular reason why you do not like the label?
