Fabfilter black friday deals 2017

Post by Mslwte »

OK a bit misleading lol. I'm trying to find out if fabfilter are doing black friday deals. More specifically the pro q individually.

Do they normally do individual deals or just the bundles?

I think, at least as far as I remember they only do bundle deals.
When I tried the demo (a few years back I must say) I wasn't really impressed, it's good but not much better than DMG Equality, at least not that I can hear. And that the DMG one is about 1/3 cheaper doesn't hurt either.
how far do you want to go

Thanks for the info mate. I thought this might of been the case. I'll have a look at the DMG.

Never doubt about this ! I've been using them for a lot of years and still for me the one-to-go-to plugins ... :) Especially the Fabfilter C2 nowadays with the sidechain options ...

They don't do black friday iirc, but there should be something at the end of the year on bundles. It comes up on KVR's market place for about £80/£90, I'd get it there. Once you've bought your first fabfilter plugin you get discounts on single plugins during sales and a multi-buy discount.

Pro-Q is all about ergonomics, its a joy to use. The natural phase mode is also killer for low-end work.

It appears they're offering individual plugins and bundles this time around:

Thats just the reseller. Fabfilter themselves are only doing a discount on their full bundle. Hopefully they'll do something at the end of the year, I'd like to pick up Pro-R.

DMG EQ is much better man.
Equilibrium is a ridonkulously good EQ.
It made my EQ dreams come true.
Still a lot to be said for Stillwell VibeEQ and 1973 though. Both sound great.

Equilibrium is obviously incredibly powerful but as it has just way too many options for me, lol. I think it's going to be too much for most people that aren't familiar with all the vintage EQ models.
