hi guys,
a new track i'm working on, still needs more finetuning, but your feedback would be great at this stage.

Structurally it’s great, it’s an acid techno stomper with great energy and carries itself along quite nicely.
There are no real flaws and what I say next is probably just personal opinion but my biggest issue is the lack of any processing or treatment on the drums. I get you’re probably aiming for something made in the 90’s and assume you’ve used a TR-8 for this but for me it sounds like a new track trying be old rather than an old track.
There’s people on here a lot more qualified than me to perhaps suggest what it’s needing, maybe a touch more verb on some elements via the sends and the drums through a buss with a compressor gluing it together.
As it stand it’s sounds like an excellent and highly accomplished demo rather than a finished track. Hope this doesn’t offend as regardless of the above, I can tell you’ve put a lot of work into it.

What feedback can I give to a man who has +34K followers on soundcloud, who's released records that people have actually bought?
It sounds pretty pro is all I can say. All except for the drum machine, that part needs some refinement.

Needs more saturation/distortion for my taste, it sounds a bit too polite for this kind of track.

I have a record of yours somewhere actually.
Wasn't a huge fan of this track though. Sounds like something that will work on the dancefloor surely, but lacks that special something that would make me wanna buy it instead of some 90's acid techno classic.

thanks everybody!
actually there's already some saturation etc going on but i'll take your remarks as a pointer to go more radical on that.
also thanks for the love and respect on my previous work; keep in mind though that the vast majority of those were coproductions, been only really seriously doing solo productions since about 2 years, and it's a huge difference to do "polite" deep and techhouse as i did before, that stuff is actually pretty easy to do, opposed to more radical and experimental and sounddesign centric music like techno.
that's why i (like we all i assume) am still learning.
