Sounds good. Those sweeps around 1:30 sound a bit out of tune to my ears.

I'm curious, how loud is the mix in terms of RMS? Is there limiting on the master?

nice track
some suggestions
you can change the pattern of the ride after the break to the offbeat
mayb you can add some high string pad at the end of the track

but what can i suggest to a famous producer

yea it's kind of a recycle of an older project, well possible i need to repitch the sweeps.

i always use the following chain on my master when i bounce a demo:

1. vintage warmer 2
2. ableton limiter
3. adjust the above so that i end up with roughly - 10 db rms.

the majority of professional masters also end up at around - 10 db, so if you wanna play your demos in a club or send to labels i'd suggest to reach that volume level.

Good work, I really like the bobobobobobo bassline :) Also the stab chord, has something old school in my opinion and fits great. I cannot really recommend something that I would change, would fit perfect into a warm up set. Maybe one little thing: the kick has a bit more punch potential, but I just like punchy kicks in general :) Really cool that you're around here, thanks for the tip again ;)

I read you guys talking about the loudness and I have a question: How do you measure the rms in Ableton on the master? Do you require a plug in? Quick Google research says?! I usually have all of my channels on -6 in Ableton as a rule of thumb and then use my ears and sometimes a reference track and a spectrum meter. I'm curious and would appreciate a quick answer. Maybe there is some potential of improvement for me :) Usually I only have a limiter on the master in Ableton and I never clip, expect when I play around.

Cheers

Nice, solid groove in here, always like that slightly lofi vibe. Not really a fan of those claps though, feels like you modulated them just a little too much, and they seem to have slightly more presence than the rest of your sounds.
And while the melody is sufficient for this type of track, it would be nice to hear someting a little more adventurous thrown in, maybe in the breakdown if you feel it would detract from the hypnotic vibe.
