Patrick Hughes - Gold Cat
Hey all,
Just finished up a new track and I'm pretty happy with it. Went for a more eerie and moving track with an acid sound. Let me know what you liked/hated. Thanks for listening,

Mix sounds solid, a little to clean for my taste. That acid-y line isn't really enough to carry the whole track and the pattern could be a bit longer / more varied, I think.

Track has a cool tense vibe. Definitely a lot of variance in the track which I like. I'm having a hard time pointing out what's missing really. The hi-hat could use some more intensity I would say, or at least at later points of the track when you up the intensity.

I'd play with arp's cutoff a little maybe add some modulation fx if possible. A clap placed as a hat in some parts of the track would add some edge to it.

It's nice and clean. The bass certainly hits you. Even over headphones.
The only thing I'm not liking is the cliched parts at around 2.00.
Effective club material I reckon
