Hi Declan, nice one for posting the track. You've asked for feedback so I'll add 2c worth real quick.

It's a pretty minimal composition and what's there already is quite interesting. It doesn't have to be completely riveting with tons of variations but maybe put some fx or automation on the snare and hat. Maybe run some hits through a reverb and automate some other modulation fx in varying intensities as the track progresses. Nothing too much but not so subtle you can't hear it either.

I could go on a bit more if you want but I'll wait to see if you comment here first :-)

I only share the tracks I make with my friends and they don't really listen to electronic music much so its great to get feedback on places like this. The more feedback the better!

I will tweak it a bit and post back here when its uploaded if you want to listen again.

Thanks :)

I have to agree with Sam. Somehow i am missing the anticipation in the track, a build-up. But thats what i personally like in a track. Fiddle around with some fx and perhaps some nice one-shots. Perhaps make it a bit shorter then the current 8 minutes. It might be easier to keep the track alive.
Don't try for perfect, it's never enough

The idea is there but I personally prefer some more dirt and crunch in music like this. The Snare sounds pretty misplaced to be honest and its way too loud. I get the feeling of it's a progressive house tune that wishes it was a dub techno track if you excuse the analogy. It's a bit "happy" & uplifting.
