Yeah really nice tracks Jamie.

Got tons of personality there in there.

Had a quick listen to all of them an I'm really liking wolves at the moment.

Thanks Guys!

They are all from the last few months. I didn't send any out to soundcloud because I thought they were crappy, but when I listened to them a few days ago, I actually liked them! Hah! So I decided to share. Wovels is actually what I ended up with when I started that CLR track video set over on SA. I arranged some sounds around the kick that had that bird chipping along with the hits and made a quick go of it. Weird how sometimes the things you think are crappy end up being pretty cool after you've forgotten about them Hah!

Thanks guys!

Hey Paul. If you want them for a set let me know and I'll enable downloads. I couldn't tell if it was simply a comment you were making or hinting that you might find some use for it!

Thanks Mattias! I'm quite flattered!

Any constructive criticism you might have would be appreciated, of course...

Just personal preferences comes to mind, I'd love some more driving hihats, distorted ones with nasty tuned resonance and a short hall reverb perhaps. A nice catchy snare/clap marking the 15th step of the first bar too maybe?

Excellent! Thank you!

Makes me happy that there isn't anything in drastic need of changing. The hardest part for me is fighting the urge to add more and more when the few elements that are present are working just fine to keep the listener's interest, but also be full of enough character to keep them coming back for another go.

Thanks again!

Honestly, I don't quite think I'm there yet. I'm always very self-critical anyway, but I just don't think I have that "sound" yet that would be considered marketable at the moment. I think I'm heading in the right direction, but it's just practice, practice, practice until I really think I have it. hah!

I enabled downloads on them if you want to take them. Feel free! Just let me know if people liked them!
