mervv - phase change

Post by mervv »

I spent way too long on this today.

The main bleepy element that comes in at right around 2:00 was made with a grain delay and was constantly totally out of phase. I tried to make it at least a little more mono-compatible by doing a whole lot of bullshit that required me to do a whole lot more bullshit to get the mix back to a decent place.

I definitely lost perspective on it and I'd like to ask for some!

Wauw!! That was something else - and i LOVED IT!

It's kind of confusing to listen to, and it's definitely more leftfield than peak-time, but by all means I thought that was incredibly wonderful! Lot of work went into that - and you can be proud of that work :)

(Listened in headphones, but everything seemed clearly mixed to my ears)

Nice, very nice!

Maybe a bit wide, but I can't fault it at all really
