Yep, listened to them again, cocktail works great imo, Im for the 808is deeper kicks. Would love to test the track on floor.

Yeah mate. Alkali has got some balls.

The only thing is that the kick is a bit too punchy, it pierces the mix too much. and is too clicky, even at low volumes. The rest of the mix is great.

disturbance at the coctailbar is cool - i like the sequence but it could maybe be further improved messing with the adsr through the track to add a bit of variation.
I don't really like the hat/snare on the 4th note of each bar, i understand how it enhances the rhythm of the sequence but i think it flows better without it.

the alkali kick is indeed al little clicky for my taste. the hats could maybe have a bit more bite/drive to stand out, they are hidden in the mix now which is a waste. maybe that's also a consequence of the spiky kick.
