i really enjoyed making this one, it just happend
i think in my other tracks, i over arranged and over produced alot of stuff, so this time i tried to make it more simple

Soundcloud processing does something strange to the topend of the kick in the first few bars..

i would like to make the synths a bit brighter, but when i open the cutoff or push it with eq/distortion i dont like the sound it gets..

any comments welcome, especially on the mix

Good stuff! It's a nice groove.

I agree that it sounds a bit lowpassed, Is there some filtering on the master?

I actually think the issue is in the hats and claps. If you make the hats brighter you may not need to adjust the synths.

It's very dark. Drums feel a touch lifeless, some reverb and compression would help i think. The kick is a bit "pointy" in the upper mids.

i made a new version with brighter synths and more movement on the hats and some other tweaks

Nice track. Has a decent groove to it, and all the melodic elements work well to keep the track developing.
My first reaction to the mix was also that the Hihats and clap could be more forward in the mix. Especially the off beat Hi hat. Think that would compliment the groove with the kick which has a relatively strong transient to my ears.

This is really great - beautiful melodies, pads, and I like the groove!

There is something about the mix - I think it's rather minor - that itches me the wrong way. I think (and I might be wrong) that the bass is a tad loud, and (I usually never say this) the hats could be a bit louder, but I'm not completely sure
