Here is my first track i made with ableton and some vst like (massive / drumatic / sylenth for example).

I'm looking for some feedbacks :)

That's a good tune! I liked the mix also, although i listened to it on my hifi speakers.
Try on the break to introduce a characteristic melody of the track, like "Alan Fitzpatrick - For an endless night" at 2:50.
And maybe add some more open hats as well.

It sounds like this type of music should sound. Resembling Bumload / Phobiq and the sorts i reckon.

When I saw the title I was expecting someone's first ever attempt.

Somehow I don't think this is your first EVER track...... :)

Sounds pretty fucking decent to me. That's all I can say really.

@Alan : I will try to and more melodies in my second track :)

@Mattias : I read lot of your post here Matthias, and learn good things. I know this is not your techno style, but for me it's a compliment. So, thank you :)

@jordanneke : I started the production since maybe 6 month, i learned a little about the production. But before this track i was making only loops.

Thanks for your words Mattias.

The road is long but I persevere and try to learn more and more.

About my track, do you have something to suggest ? Something is missing ? Or something other ?

It's pretty mainstream and that's ok if you ask me. I would actually enjoy listening to this track on some festival, a beer and the sun :)
More then decent for a 1st track!

Very balanced track for someone just starting out. Nothing blatantly wrong with it, in either the music, sound design or the mix. Definitely much better than my first attempts (though it's MUCH easier to start out these days, due to the massive amount of tutorials and other help available, as well as cheap but professional sounding tools).

Obviously, it's not a musical masterpiece but it's a very promising start!

I'm gonna repeat what others said: for a first track it definetly surpassed my expectations.
The bottom end is nice and heavy.
I personally think that the subs coud use a little more movement though, maybe make it more bouncy, and the kick could be a little more punchy.
That vocal sound gives the track a great touch, especially in the 2nd small break around 2:01.
That Sasha Carassi-style synths are also pretty cool.
All in all, cool track man! I'm definetly adding this to my collection.

Nice work man, echoing what others have said that it is very impressive for a first track. I have a soft spot for those "donk" basses, how did you make them?

Thank you sekasapa & Ttinga.

I made the bass with Sylenth, at the start it was a chord i'd do. And I filtered all frequencies above 200 Hz. Add a little reverb (Valhalla Room here). Resample it add and put your sample in a sampler. Add some attack, and here is the donk basses for me.
Don't forget to add also a sidechain mate.

I hope answer your question.

This is REALLY good for a first track. It doesn't sound like it's a first track. I'm going to assume that you've sweat hard in front of your daw and failed a million times; this is pretty unbelievable for a first track. Congrats!
