Jordanneke - Too much cheese? :?

Post by jordanneke »

Hey dudes, I'd like some quick advice on this.

I am completely in 2 minds - does the 'bounce' in this sound too cheesy?

The mix needs work I know, but I don't want to invest anymore time if it sounds too much like Cheddar

One thing I think I'd like to experiment on hearing your track is experimenting with different groove values on the closed hihats. I think some very interesting grooves would arise by doing this ;-).

Thanks all for listening. I guess I over listened to it while producing and it started to stink harder than camembert.

Like the cheese pun too ttinga.

That's a real interesting comment about changing the groove on the hats by changing up the shuffle bkwsk.

I'll play around with that for sure

Thanks again.

Sounds very well produced to me!

Doesn't really go anywhere though, so maybe it actually needs MORE cheese. No Edam though, more like a chunky slice of Stilton or Roquefort!

Thanks to all that listened. I tweaked it and have done as much as I can do with it.

Here's my attempt at the finished track, assuming you'd like to hear it of course!

Cheers
