Radio RdF Episode 13 - Rupert Weck
Hello,
I was thinking of spending some time during this entry on numerology and the special place 13 has in different cultures.
I would then have told you that numbers are figments of our mind and that they don’t exist in reality and a longer slew of thoughts about this number 13.
But then again, this is not what this blog is about, is it?
Back to the order at hand. This episode brings us another international guest. Rupert Weck is a well kept secret. After surfacing in 2007 with two ep’s on Bokal records that caught my eye, he kind of dissapeared.
5 years later, Rupert obliged to send in a mix that didn’t quite hit the expectations. Instead of abstract techno, the man brings us a mix full of house by, in my humble opinion, the greatest producers in the genre.
I must say I was pleasantly surprised and didn’t hesitate to use a predominantly house orientated mix for this show which has a mission statement fully committed to techno. That already says enough.
