At first glance this looks fairly basic and given the price you would expect it to be. But having watched this video there is more than meets the eye, plus it seems to have quite a nice sound to it. I'm impressed. A behringer killer.

Mostly that is their raison d'etre: Deceptively simple synths with a stunning hi end sound and stealthily efficient creative/clever/unique features. Apart from the latest erebus which they semi modularised and thus made it a little more complex than their usual.
Their filters and oscillators are some of the best sounding out there. They have that thick harmonic silkyness similar to moog architecture.
One of the best boutique synth companies out there IMHO
I'd own all their synth if I were a synth nerd, but I only use hardware for live and the music I am making now doesn't really use "normal" synths or particularly analoggy sounds.
I remember when the first Erebus came out, it looked interesting and the sound on the videos was pretty good. Most of all it was a bargain - it was in the back of my mind on a GAS list. Then the price started to creep up and up. The latest one is over 500 nicker. I know they added more stuff but still, it's like double the price of the original.
I might just get my Dreadbox fix with this Nymphes though.

Just buy a used Erebus V1. They sound beautiful. One of my biggest regrets was selling mine.

It's tempting....... I'm trying to hone things and stop buying monos though. I've been sadly lacking in anything decent polyphonically so this year I've been trying to amend that.

Yeah I get ya.
I'm down to one mono and I'm probably getting rid.
