Then I love you just a little bit more.

That sobg has a special place in my heart, my old partner in the Rave rig used to quote that and sing to me a lot, whenever some insane thing happened (dealing with police, fighting off gangs, whatever) and I was sitting there recovering from it.
I'd look at him with a "what the fuck are we doing man" look on my face, and then the fucker would sing or quote that line at me.
And I started to see him as the insane night man, tempting me back in to the madness.

And I've taken it as a mantra to my whole life in music in general.

I said I would post a pic at some point, so here it is; my current space. I can't change the desk due to rules in this apartment which I would as it's a bit tired and has a hello kitty face in the corner which isn't really the vibe i'm after at my music making spot, I'm leaving soon though so I will be back to just using my laptop for a bit.

Not much to look at really but this small set up is endlessly fun. I tried to order monitors a few times here but had difficulties so I'm waiting until I'm in my next place of residence to get some, I mix on my AKG 702 which are away in this pic and use Ableton Live 10 which I upgraded to last month. Some very nice studio spaces posted here. I'm looking forward to settling down somewhere and having a bit more of a space for it.

My room has been like a landfill for months.

Bags. Wires. Papers. Books. Boxes. Drum machines & keyboards, some with with things, papers, books or magazines on top of them.

Sounds like mine which is the coal hole on side of my house and the mrs dumps all her shite in there, old pram, kids shite, washing, bags of random crap. I literally have to have a 20 minute session throwing all the shite out before I can get in there and it doesn’t exactly inspire me to make music once I’ve had a sweat session launching crap out of the way.

I'm an old romantic, candles and joss sticks in the studio will do me fine.
Preferably skull shaped candlestick holders, but there's a lot of cheesy goth in me....
