I had great hopes for Blawan after his standout track 'Under my garage'. That was dark and funky and funny.

But he disappeared up that 'harder is better' route when he became Karenn.

When did techno become so serious? Black black and more fuckin black. No smiling in the queue, no hands in the air, no dancing, just shitty circular fist pumping.

Nah he`s just following the marketing plan.
As one of the people responsible for perpetuating dull, stiff and mindless distorted banging club tracks, it`s a little hypocritical.
Expect Porc trance releases soon, and more stuff with Amelia Lens........

Back when he did this shit, he was the bomb

Now it`s just overdriven kick, random blah sound with distortion.

Where did all the funk and swing go?

Agreed. That's what I don't like about that so called "dark and angry" techno. Few tracks of it got funk, groove and rhythms that wanna make you go crazy on a dance-floor.
It's just fist pump and serious dude-bro looks. Ugh

Prime distribution. Yep.

When they went down the staff were so fucked they were literally thieving computers, printers out the back door of the offices, anything they could to get some money as they got no wages...

Ahaha, I mean, we all have some sort of shit in our backlog but that is a true winner.

I can't agree more, i think it's just life process when your'e music taste changes and you don't really want to listen that harsh sound anymore..

I dunno what kids these days are taking when they go to a techno pooordaaayyy that they dress in the blackest ever black and fist pump with serious look on your face.

When I was their age, everyone was on pills and had colorful (sometimes really silly, but I take silly looks over uniforms all day) clothing. Everyone was sexy dancing and smiling and shit.

Tss.. Kids these dayz

It pisses me off.
I always been wearing black and military from my industrial days. Bought my clothes at army surplus, still do. Cheap and durable.
Now all the shits are on it and I fit in for the first time, and they are the last fucks I wanna fit in with.
I fucking hate it.
I'll be so glad when that shit is out again.
Pretenders.

Goth for life innit.

I've really been enjoying Bruce's output recently

Groovy, emotional, makes you dance with a smile.
