UMEK @ MAYDAY - 2004 - Track ID?
UMEK @ MAYDAY - 2004 - Track ID?
Hey, I was just wondering if you peeps could please help me out with a track ID:
What's the name of the very first track? Man, I remember it like it was yesterday, me and my rich kid mate with his big BMW and the massive hifonics woofer in his boot. His soundsystem was soooo good. Parked up on the hill, sitting in the back, smoking pot and listening to this set. It took me ages to even find the set, so I'm already happy to be one step closer. Shazam wasn't of any help
Thank you!

A friend of mine used to play this style of techno, and also was a fine purveyor of the black crack so he most likely would recognize it. https://www.mixcloud.com/ctrl_opt_cmd/
Personally I think it sounds like Henrik B, DJ Preach, something on MB elektronics or Yin Yang, that sorta thing

I'm not endorsing all of the work that came after for any of those mentioned, as it's hard to love everything an artist does. Sometimes a label, but rarely.
I'd be lying if I said I no longer liked any of their stuff though. Some of the music has aged better than just nostalgia levels maintain.
There was a certain energy in that early noughties 140 stuff that is rare to hear these days.
