It's all kicking off in tech-house land

I've no idea who is who either but....

Some guy called Tennan sends a demo to Mihalis Safras (no idea either but seemingly popular) hears nothing back but then hears his own demo on Beatport. Full interview is here

https://change-underground.com/tennan-m ... lagiarism/

Apparently Mihalis has form and a few more come out the woodwork prompting this vid.

youtu.be/r4hHhtzyKh4

Mihalis, then takes to Facebook showing his track, samples, stems, automation etc

https://www.facebook.com/mihalissafras/ ... 629826717/

I can't be arsed sitting through it but apparently it's a deflection tactic and doesn't really deal with the bits Tennan said were robbed or the other tracks.

Also, if you go through the comments what is sadder I guess is the rest of the League 1 DJ's that have rounded up the wagons and attempting to shut the original guy down. The exact opposite reaction to the Hannah Wants thing last year.

Update: Apparently Mihalis asks for other producers stems to do a remix, the remix never appears but parts crop up in his own productions. Which is pretty fucking low by all accounts. He's trying to brush it off by saying he samples, uses loops packs and a multitude of sources so looses track of what may account for a part ending up on one of his tracks.

Meh, they'll all continue to support him, and dicks will release on his label, same as the whole Emmanuel from ARTS bullshit.
Integrity gets in the way of getting ahead.

i've saw the stealer in a point blank video years ago, i recognized his name. the facebook link you provided is him saying he is a loop arranger, he doesn't create the music. i guess his idea of sampling is quite generous.
the youtube video is damning evidence should anyone care, but like most things, it is who you know and the stealer has been around longer than the stealee, so it might get a little press, but he's put enough people on guest lists to be owed a few favours and no one will voice any real criticism of him.
you can see that in the article you posted- the author who has written for all the music mags basically blames the guy whose tracks were stolen.

So fuck it, i'll do the same now. So if any of you cunts recognizes some of your samples/loops in my tracks THE'RE NOT YOURS, okay? Understand???

As for (F)ARTS Gaymmanuel: He could do the best track in the world, I don't care. He's a lying, spineless fucktard, period. Everyone supporting these stealing shitbags can eat a big bag of dicks.

Take a fucking stand people, for the music...

Established producers who take advantage of up and comers for their own benefit are the highest rank of CUNT.

But like voidless said, a lot of these sheep will still support them type of people as they just want to use that person for their industry links.

Mr Stealer has released a very amateurish press release on the subject.

tl;dr - Fuck you all on social media, I give all my earnings to charity, upsetting the bins, I robbed one four bar loop, it was an honest mistake guv.

Derivative, boring, trying so hard to be "current", and ripping the styles of quite a few people.

erm...

Kinda shitty?
Less interesting to listen to than my cats flatulence?

Emmanuel bedewela(not sure about the spelling) the owner of ARTS label, who supposedly stole tracks from stanislav tolkachev and alexey volkov, and tried to pass them as his for tresor label.
Here is an article about it :https://www.residentadvisor.net/news.aspx?id=29274

I feel lucky that I'm so out of it that I've never heard of this guy before. Also, this is some seriously boring ass bongo crap.

There's not a microphone in existence that could withstand the nasal detritus that emits from any of my cat's flatulence.

Let's be clear, there is no supposed about it.
He stole the tracks.
He contacted the artists directly to try to wriggle out of it, and tresor recalled the vinyl of the release and made a big public statement.
He then spent ages wriggling but never once actually admitting it.

Uttercunt
