there is no techno here and when there is its some sort of insipid edm ish over produced over compressed thing that i don't know the real name of.....

I'd look that as an opportunity actually. Start my own night somewhere.

Might be difficult of course if it's a very small village.

its a state capital of 2m people

but still no one would come . the "techno" there is gets a 100 people and I wouln't class it as techno .....

its not like EU .....

I understand. Then again, if no one starts anything nothing will ever appear either...

Cities with thriwing scenes can be difficult as well, unless you're a top player there. In Helsinki it's quite difficult to get gigs, even when there are several places that play house, disco, techno etc. Every single basic bar equipped with DJ gear has a queue of at least a hundred DJ's who wan to play there, so you either have to be extremely good or know the right people, usually both.
