Hip hop is in a really good place. About a year ago I stopped listening to hip hop for a good couple of years because like y'all I thought it was all generic trap shit.

Great thread, loads of interesting stuff that I would have never come across elsewhere. Also interesting that there are a lot of posts with Hip Hop groups, while the status quo right now is leaning more to solo artists and collectives instead of groups (at least in the somewhat mainstream).
