Truncate Breakdown
Good afternoon fellas, Long time lurker, Decided to finally make an account and share some thoughts!
I've been really diggn' this track by Truncate! Just trying to figure out how you can get nice punchy kick? Also does this song have a bassline or just being driving be a very slow sub bass?
thanks for the knowledge!

Re: Truncate Breakdown
Hello! My guess is a just a simple 909 kick, long-ish decay, tuned for the track and saturated/compressed with the hats.
The thuddy percussive/bass element playing offbeat 8ths when you first hear the kick is the synth stab with the LP filter cutoff rained in a bunch.

Hello first poster.
I would suggest you take some time to get to know the forum before posting questions like this (in the wrong part of the forum) and before doing a basic search.
All your questions are more than likely answered, with detailed guides, in this part of the forum (the production section)
