FUCK YES !!! The mighty Cunninlynguists released a new album finally. Concious Rap at its finest. Their producer DJ Kno is on another level !!!! It's on heavy rotation for the whole day. It's been a long time since i've listened to a soulful record like this...
Ha! I know Vincenzo. He's a synthwave legend. Also, half his songs are about pizza.

Wow, that's great. I really like this track, the guitars in min 2.30 are nothing but amazing.

guitar ?
how about the synths !
I know very little about synthwave, but the one thing you gotta hand these guys is that they totally go for the old school synth sounds. Even the cheesy 80's synth drum sounds.
No fancy complicated FX chains needed on some milliseconds short sounds like us techno folks.
I never thought I would still be interested in music made using those sounds, but all the time I hear stuff like this on soundtracks somewhere it just works perfectly.
Even the guitar, which was by far the über-cheese sound... it worked.
mr G, still got that JX10+PG800 combo if one of your synth wave friends is interested.

this Vincenzo guy even made a FB page (and SC page) for his dog...
haha...
definitely never thought I'd be enjoying watching stupid dog pics or video's, but it's quite hilarious.
Listening to lots of old-school / new-school Hardcore and a touch of Metalcore...
YOUTH OF TODAY
NORTHLANE
THE HOPE CONSPIRACY
STICK TO YOUR GUNS
NASTY
BATTERY
SHAI HULUD
EARTH CRISIS
INTEGRITY
NEUROSIS
List goes on and on and on....

TomasHD en The_G, thx for mentioning Vincenzo Salvia.
I just had some rather entertaining moments looking up this guy.
What a relief seeing this guy taking it all over the top with 80's cheese.
I mean, the artwork (the fonts), the video game references, the video's (windshield wipers of a car in the snow, going in almost sync with the beat, that dance-fight in the disco), track titles.
If you compare that to all the serious and depressed black 'n white pics we get to see in techno country.
And here's his studio.
Ah the simplicity and the not caring a fuck about acoustics.
And here we all are debating that shit like maniacs.
"Yamaha con rear ports contro il muro e quella sinistra in angolo. Acusticamente un incubo."
We're so used to the info in the remark above that we can understand it perfectly even if we don't speak Italian.
And I'm getting one of these for the 5yr old of a good friend. I'll make sure he loves it so much he drags it around everywhere...
I love it when artists can laugh with themselves like that.
(Daria Danatelli, gotta love it ! )
The Pineapple Pizza Slayer. (and the artwork done by his mrs who's artist name is Powder Slut)
People with a healthy sense of humor that don't take themselves too seriously.
We need more of that.

Not to toot my own horn, but did you hear my synthwave album? Had a vid up on NRW last month.
Man your music is from another world, it really caught me, never thought it was you, it teletransported me literally haha. All of your tracks amazed me, specially this one you posted "Shadows in the neon rain", love that mellow nostalgic feel.
I am actually taking a break from techno (I feel it doesn't surprises me anymore) so lately i ve been digging more melodic stuff, synthwave particularly and some EBM.
Note: Hades your home seems appears to be the perfect world to me, big library, film collection, analog synths, studio? I couldn't ask for more.
