You saying us English are lazy!!!!????!!!! ;)
I concur to this!
The native English speaking countries are linguistically handicapped. Because it's the main language that everyone learns. Haha.

Mono-xID wrote:Was my second home back then. The old Tresor had such an atmosphere which is hard to describe. I still have the smell in my nose when you walked down the stairs and the music from the tresor-room was getting louder with every step. Still give me goosebumps when i think back of those days. Surgeons residency was always fuckin heavy. The No-Future/Scandinavia nights were unbelievable good. And Mills...how many times he totally destroyed the place (and me  ). And Claude Young...oh wait, goosebumps coming again :D !!!

Berghain is a great club music & location wise but the pure hedonism, the "look how fookin' cool i am" crowd and the strange door policy turns me off to the max.
Tresor never had any of this. if you were in love with Techno, this was/is the place.
Same for me. Im proud that I had the chance to play in the old club. It was another world and techno scene and also the club who has socialised me with techno and the movement. It was UNCOMPROMISSED! and the old club was so small... 150 people in the basement and it was full of extasy and energy.

you can also watch this if you want to imagine how it was:

Dj Mad Max and Stevie D are Recyver Dogs

you can see how they go into the club. street - door - globus(the floor above the tresor basement) - the bar and toiletts - downstairs to the basement =)

or watch this. its a part of the 4 weeks closing party in 2005. and paul kalkbrenner was playing real techno (not the shit trance music he perform now). the second break is amazing. but hey, that was the old tresor :D

Never knew it only held 150 in the basement. No wonder it was so good.

With 150 people it was rammed. You couldn't breath in there and there was so little oxygen in that room that your lighter won't lit up when you wanted to smoke a cancer stick.

I played one time at old Tresor aswell together with my former best mate. Must have been around '97 or '98. GOOOOOOOOSEBUMPS!!!!!!
