I like the tune. It's a pretty good pop tune, if you like pop that is. It's going to shift some serious units. For me, it's probably one of the best pop tunes since Umbrella.

It is going to be played for a long time, as some of the cuts from MJ's off the wall. Perhaps.

But then again, some people find pop abhorrent, I'm cool with that too.

If you look past the crap it can be an interesting place though, and some of their netlabel releases are nothing short of stunning. One of the admins, Benwaa, is also into techno quite a bit, does mastering and knows what the hell he is doing (he worked on one of my tracks before).

Track 4 is mine (starts at 13.52).
This was all lifted from a set of samples made from bridge girders, kitchen utensils and some random noises from the woods, no instruments of any kind.

Cool, point taken. I'll check out some of BenWaa's stuff. I'm good with AFX fanboys and industrial/noise oriented people but the forum seems to be the first place that people who want to sound like Avicii go to for advice. I'm a big fan of actual IDM although I don't keep up with it very well and I'm not sure what's good these days.

Oh you should completely ignore all the avicii related shit, its not the nature of the forum at all, just a result of it getting quite popular. They are pretty tolerant of crap like that even though none of the longer-term members rate it at all.
