Good idea Wouter!

Stuff I admire mainly is all Downwards, Luke Slater, Regis, Inigo Kennedy, all those japanese techno lads from the loopy tech of 10+ years ago.

I like the real abstract stuff. Pummelling groove & something fkd up on top.

Colm here.

I went through a brief phase of buying vinyl around the end of the nineties (despite a lack of cash!).
I found that I was always on the lookout for stuff from luke slater, jeff mills, steve stoll, oliver lieb, etc. (the usual suspects i suppose) and those tasty force inc. releases, etc.

I don't really make any music at the minute, but I'm working on that, slowly...

Walsh here...

Fairly new to techno so i like the new stuff like the Rebirth of Bumload and True Soul, CLR and Electric Deluxe Labels

I produce melody based techno. It's just a hobby now, but in about half a year I'll be in school for Audio and Recording tech program to make this a full time profession.

I'm in this for the long haul. Can't wait to share everything for many years to come!

Hi guys. I'm John been into my techno for about 6-7 years now. Still young compared to some of you old gits :P

DJ and budding producer. First got some decks about 10 years ago, then it was all about Hard Dance (Tidy crap etc) before moving onto house/techno before finally settling fully on techno. Been producing on and off for quite a while now, but if you added up the time when I've actually been producing I'd say I've been doing it about a year and a half. The last 9 months have been more serious (actually trying to learn it properly rather than opening a DAW and f**king about).

Love the new school sounding techno - dark, dubby and driving sounding techno. People like Xhin, Lucy, Marcel Fengler, James Ruskin, Surgeon, Truncate/Audio Injection, Dettmann, blah, blah, blah...

Yeah I got the album, theres some really good stuff on there. A lot of experiomental stuff as well which is pretty cool, but still on the other hand theres a part of me that wishes producers would stay away from that kind of stuff on their albums and produce a more set like album if that makes sense, rather than try and be arty and different. That's probably just my opionion though.

To be fair to them, it's probably why they make the albums so that they are able to release stuff like that rather than keep to the 4/4 stuff they usually release

The techno in me was shouting "NOOOOO" when I heard all that experimental stuff. Made me sad.

I know they can do what they want.. but I just cant listen to it - lol

I do like most of it. Some of it is a bit too far out though and would be better suited in horror film.

But yeah I would much rather listen to a 125 - 130 bpm chug-a-thon
