How to make this percy sound?
How to make this percy sound?
Hello,
I'm a beginner and am trying to get this sound(attachement) from a synth, but just can't seem to get to the results.
Been trying with some squares, but the sound does not sound as complete and full.
Could someone help me?
Thanks in advance for your time and help!

Re: How to make this percy sound?
FM synthesis - use 2 sine waves - one as the carrier, one as the modulator

Re: How to make this percy sound?
hmm this is the closest i could get with waldorf attack
osc 1 at C#4, osc 2 at A2.
osc 2 modulates osc 1
osc 1 goes to main output

Re: How to make this percy sound?
Hey thanks again man, I was looking exactly for this kind of procedure to get that sound, and I have been experimenting around and soo many cool sounds can be created, this answered not only the question about this percy sound but to so many other sounds that I have tried making but couldn't get to, this is really infinite, fully enjoying these modulations hahaha
Have a great day!

Re: How to make this percy sound?
cheers guys, happy to help man! fm synthesis is probably the technique i use most for synths and Porc sounds. it lends itself very well to metallic and atonal sounds.
