ITT: Favourite sound design in tracks
What are some tracks that you love the sound design in? Can be anything to do with the synth work, drum textures and general atmospheres in a track etc..
To start, i absolutely love the synth work in this Heil track. I love the way the 2 synth sequences move in and out with each other, with all the little subtle filtering and pitch automation. The 2 synths are so gritty and raw as well. Such a mean and hypnotic record.

I could post about a million Deepchord tracks here. IMO Rod Modell is by far the best sound designer in techno. He always nails that really warm sound with loads of dynamics without being lo-fi, which is almost impossible to get right. And the amount of sonic detail in his tracks is just absurd, I have no idea how he does it. Not only that but his tracks have become even more complex and detailed over the years in terms of sound design. He's also been increasingly using acoustic, non field recording samples which gives his more recent tracks a really nice sonic variety.
His latest EP is a sound design burner, even by his standards.
