Presonus Studio One Mix Engine FX

Has anyone got any experience of using the Mix engine effects in Studio one?
I know A lot of you guys are using the Britson/Satson plugins as well as other console emulation, and wondered if anyone had used the Mix Engine FX. It seems to work differently to normal console emulation plugins as it effects channels before they are summed to the master bus. I wondered if this was a gimmick or was actually any good?
I have the Artist Edition of Studio One and have thought about upgrading to get this plug in
