Regis Boiler Room, Whats he holding in his hand? Controller?

Hi Guys,
What is Regis holding in his hand? Looks like some kind of controller.... Is it connected to the great Destroyer Fuzz Pedal he's using? Im assuming the sounds hes making is some kind of feedback loop?

Pretty sure it's just a loose patch cable.

Yeah but it looks/sounds like he's processing it further ITB.
I've done this myself a lot... generate buzz sounds with the cable and sculpt them with pedals/fx.

He`s just grounding an open cable on himself rather theatrically, which is being distorted and then run in to reverb.
