Fuck elektron.
Virtually no support for the Octa for years "it's a finished product, we can't do anything else to it" and then "oh... conditional trigs. I'm glad I don't have mine any more. Sold my other one recently.

Although....would not sell my OT anytime soon.
The conditional trigs will be nice but it has been somewhat achievable with the random LFO from the beginning. People losing their minds over this is weird. Some imagination and you had this years ago. whatever.
What are you using in it's place? I remember you praising the OT here and there.

Re: Octatrack MKi & ii to get conditional trigs
Yeah exactly, the random lfo was a great workaround.
I still think the Octa is the best thing Elektron do, and it is still a great bit of kit, I just never got on fully with their paradigm\working method. I had to fit to it, it couldn't fit to me. And slowly over years they went from being a great boutique company to the mess they are now.
So now I have an MPC Live, and it basically answered all my prayers.

Nice to see the trig conditions coming to the Octa. Saves me LFO's. They hired lots of programmers lately, maybe some of these dudes found a way to implement this feature in the octa.
