Good spec, good price. I'm getting a bit bored of Shruthi XT so I might flog it and get this when it comes out...

Interesting they went with another mono. I mean, it will sound lovely no doubt, but really?

Agh there you are Void. Well a 3 osc mono can sound really nice and the price is right.
(I kinda have a weak spot for monosynths (BS-2, Evolver and SH-1)).

Yeah, I mean it`s dreadbox, so I expect it will be the best sounding 3osc for the money. But they had just started to bring out some really interesting stuff. The Abyss, and the Nyx especially was showing moves to non standard analog routes.
I was going to get a Behringer Model D, but I will probably get this instead if it sounds as good as their other stuff, might as well replace my Erebus with this thing.

Its supposed to have the same oscillators as their other synths so should sound excellent. But I dont really get it either. How many monos did they come out with already?
Price and features seem great though. Looking forward to some sound demos

This is going to be the desktop mono to beat. That feature set kills anything else in its price range. Not to mention the Erebus sounds like the lovechild of an SH-101 and Moog, and the Medusa will probably sound much the same... Damn.

had the nyx, absolutely loved it but ultimately its quirky routing didn't open up as many interesting possibilities as I thought it would. for me, it would have made more sense as a product if the LFOs were syncable so you could do interesting rhythmic stuff with the 2 filters. trying to sync by ear kind of works but then you need to print before it drifts and work with loops.

This will be the partner for my beloved Dominion 1. I'm ready for some 2x3 Osc mono action.

I guess the Dom 1 patched together with Medusa results in some kind of audio porn.

i'm confident this will blow the behringer out of the water, every DB is a pure vibe machine. i think ultimately it comes down to whether you prefer to work with patch storage or not; if so, get the SE-02, otherwise get the medusa.
