However.. some picks have appeared which look to be linked to an announcement on 9/09/16.

Analog / digital &/or made for midgets - it's interesting nonetheless.

They seem to be well built?

Roland is that one mate of yours whos life is kinda sad and boring now, who goes on about that one time (that you cant even remember) where you all got drunk and stole a milk float, EVERY time you meet up with him. And the story changes a little bit each time, but it is basically the same.

Roland are possibly the most frustrating stubborn company. Just make a proper 909 reissue ffs.
Or at least make something new and innovative, but when was the last time that happened?. Ill take a look at this new 909 but I'm not very excited about it at all.

If they were a bit bigger.. the size of a tr8 or original 303.. then fair enough.

Thats my only gripe. Hope they learned from the aggregate device bollocks with the tr8 with the 909 & it's easier to hook up to the computer.

Altough that TB-03 is another remake, i think it's quite a complete package with that integrated overdrive and delay.
Could be a nice way to sequence some old monophonic synths with the cv and gate outs.
I'm quite curious about the format.

Why not the more the merrier, I'm sure they will sell bucket loads, which can only be good for Roland and their future. I see nothing wrong with capitalizing on their iconic older machines as Korg is doing.
