Izotope Trash 2

For anyone interested I just picked up Izotope Trash 2 on plugin boutique for €9, got a free delay plugin too which sounds great

Great deal, I’m also enjoying the aas delay. Getting some interesting sounds from it and used it loads already. These 2 devices for £9.

Aye, sounds nice. One tip I seen from a dnb guy was to run Reese basslines through Thrash & preset hop while recording the result for chopping up after. Same approach works great on p3rcussion or drum loops if you want to get some special sounds or interesting textures.

Tbf, this is one plug that's never worth buying. There are always cheap AF sales or buy one, get one free giveaways.

Yeah the delay sounds great, came up with some interesting patters myself with it. Good tip for trash Crioch, Friday night sorted. And yeah wouldn't dream of paying full price for it. Majority of my plugins were bought on sale. Well worth the €9 though.

Throw the drum loop audio into a simpler & put it to chop mode.. add a arp on 16ths etc.. and set the octaves & note to different amounts for cool variations. You can get some Interesting stuff sometimes

Another good thing to do with 'Thrash' stem is to load it into a simpler & put a M4L LFO Tool onto the sample start position parameter. Make a midi clip with some notes in a semi coherent pattern & record the result.

Better with some things more than others. Sometimes it's a better approach than trying to program a happy accident.

I missed this sale!! That's a steep discount, I'm disappointed.

How would you all compare this with a lot of other popular distortion plugins? I've never used it. I often feel ITB distortion sounds just a a little bit wrong.

Trash is king. I use it 24/7 so glad i picked up a proper version
