I had a look. It doesn't look like a nice user experience, and it's tiny. I'd hate having to use something that small in the stress of a club night. If that is ever a thing again.
Yeah I also forgot you'd said grid based, which it isn't. Brain fart.

Can't help you specifically but have a look here.
There's all kinds of crazy LFOs to dive in to

It's perhaps expensive just for that use case but Isotonik Modulat should also be able to do that, I think?

I want something that can do serious 2bus/drums crunch without totally clogging up the mix.

Spectre and WA Tubesaturator are good at adding smaller touches when you set them right but I want more breakup. Obviously it's a matter of technique in that it has to be set up right in any case but still, I've not been 100% happy with any of the software options for what I want. I feel like this a scenario where some hardware might actually be benificial, maybe an Analog Heat?

What are you using for 2bus saturation in 2020, Steve?
I really like Soundtoys Radiator on the master bus.
Tried it again yesterday. Hven't used it in a while and forgot how good it is - goes pretty far into breakup while still sounding good! I'll go back to using it on the master, I think.

I had a look.
This thing came to me today, no idea of price and they say they're releasing it next April, so might be too long a wait for you, but looks interesting.
