It’s always been a dreadful routing job to add rumbling to a kick drum. Depending on your DAW you had to root your kick drum track to a send track, insert a reverb there followed by a side chain controlled gate etc. Or something alike. Mostly worse. That’s why we built kikzilla to create rumbling in a simple way. And of course we didn’t stay with a replica – we’ve added useful functions like freeze, drag&drop and reverse playout.

OH NO. To get da rumblez you have to - gasp! - route a kickdrum to a reverb send and maybe even - gasp! - resample. Way too much work! I have to get my daily business techno done by 5pm. all silly joking aside, for years I thought "the drop" was exactly the opposite of what it actually is. In my logic it meant "dropping something" as in taking away (kick, energy, whatever).

A disadvantage of the processing chain up to here might be that it might take some time to "fill up" the reverb. So the rumbling for the first kicks track might not be as cool as for the later ones. That’s why we added the freeze function.

Ok, so for giggles I went to the site and listened to the examples - in all fairness, it does sound pretty good. The guide video where he's actually editing the audio waveform is instructive enough that it might take people some place new.

Will I buy it? No?.
Is it corny. Yes.

But to be fair, so are a lot of plugs - TBH, this seems like the kind of Plugin Waves makes, but the needs are too niche.
