Really cool plug. Doesn't sound like anything else. Weird comb filtery early reflection reverb. Dev posted comparisons with the hardware on GS and it's really close, too. Impressive emulation work for such a weird machine.

Got it, its a bit one note though. But sounds decent. Im sure some people will find it useful.

Commenting on dub version.

Mix sounds good, just a touch clinical i'd say. The 808/606 ish hats are a bit bright compared to the rest of the mix. Bassline could be a bit more perhaps. Transients on drums feel a touch raw overall.

It's very dark. Drums feel a touch lifeless, some reverb and compression would help i think. The kick is a bit "pointy" in the upper mids.

Clip them.

Pad-ish sound is a touch dark. Transients are a bit all over the place, some of them quite soft, others quite spike-y.

Mix is quite dark, especially the synths. Upper bass area 100-200 feels a touch muddy.

What I don't get is -- streaming from lesser known artists makes so little money, I can see this scam hardly being worth the effort, even with 1000s of tracks?

Mark is a touch dark overall.

Kick is a bit thick somewhere around 100-200 probably.

I'd say the transients are just a touch spike-y overall.

Bassline could use just a touch of a 50hz boost.

It's good ear training but it won't help you with synthesis beyond fairly basic subtractive patches.

Thanks all for the help. I've treated the bass a bit as suggested. Likewise, with the chords, I tamed them a bit and made them a bit less industrial sounding. I worked on the hats by increasing the attack on the gate, so the harshness of the transients was softened and added a bit of reverb to them...

Yeah, the AKGs are much better for production but they are totally unuseable outside the home. On the flipside, HD-25s are pretty terrible for production.

If you can afford it, I really recommend getting two pairs. You can probably get useable phones for outside for under 100 bucks.

The basic bass sound is fine but it could come up 2-3db db and maybe a nice ~50hz boost... Also you could extend the decay a touch.
