I really like the stabs man! Good friggin work on those things. Interesting enough to do some project without the kick at all. Just some droning low-end with those things... I'm not feeling the relation between the kick+bass plus the rest I guess is what I'm trying to say. Im not feeling the groove.

Yeah, for me it just feels like it's a bit lacking in the mid frequencies. Maybe ease off the filter, dunno. Just feels like there's a big gap between the stab and that wonderful kick+rumble. It was a lot of work to keep fresh and to be honest I preferred beat matching the music and being more involved ...
