Re: Joseph John - Automate
Good effort guy! I like rollers like this. The intro is indeed a bit to long, or maybe you can leave something for 30 seconds later, to keep it interesting. I like the way your groove sounds laidback, the bass decay is good. Around 2m there is some change needed, it could be as simple as muting the ...

Re: Kromasome - Jupiter
very nice thing going on! It got me floating a little :-). Some things I noticed: I like that I can actually hear you fiddle around with knobs like the filter. But on 3.23m for example, this took me out of the vibe and made it technical.. (hope you understand what i'm trying to say here). The synth ...

Re: Shine on you crazy diamond
Thanks for listening Dubdub! It is indeed more or less wonky with the sounds I produced. I find it very difficult to balance that mid low area and get that techno power. Can you be more specific on how to solve this? @Kromasome: Thanks! I dont hear this kind of techno very often, so I'm very curious...

Shine on you crazy diamond
That awkwardly perfect guitarnotes from sir Gilmour. I could not resist using it as a theme in my last creation "Pink".
I also took the freedom to steal some action from mr Waters on the famous VCS3.
Enjoy!

Re: Koenrahd - Torsie (DH remix)
When you send me the track yesterday, I was very happily surprised that its totally different than the original. Offcourse I listened to a couple of your tracks and I thought I could profile a bit of a 'Dollhead signature' with those lo-fi bleeps and those bitcrushers in combination of a pounding/cl...

Re: lost in the dark by Sevent Serpent
First impression: very good, I like those scary sounds and I like your rumbling groove. The tin/pan sounds that come in at 1.00 are a bit too much in the front and to variating in tones for my taste. The building up boatsiren that starts at 1.12 is in my opinion a bit to much Martin Garrix material,...

Re: EP - Radiaal
The over all sound of the mixes are strange, but not always in a good way. It's sounds as if many of the hats and high prec your using are completely dry or don't have the same "dark and dank" processing the bass and lower elements do which makes the bass and kicks sound super muddy (and fucking aw...

Re: EP - Radiaal
Thanks Dubdub and Sauvage! Really appreciate your comments. I find it pretty hard to get those transients in balans, cause most of the used samples from my drummachine are already compressed and limited. Mostly there is a 909 kick going on, but i added some 'sub fx' from ableton lightly underneath i...

Re: halfadder - studio session 2017-02-12
I scrolled it through a bit. I enjoyed the tracks, especially the one around 13m and the 909 chaos around 1.01m , very well produced. Can you tell us a bit how it was 'live'? Did you use analogue drumcomputers/synths/trackparts in ableton? thanks! this set in particular is all in the box ableton. f...

EP - Radiaal
Here I go, my first EP called Radiaal. Worked on it for a couple of months, let it rest for 6 more and finished it in januari. Mastered by el Fridell. Big thanks to him! He really made up my lousy mixing. https://soundcloud.com/koenrahd/sets/radiaal/s-zkkqm Private link, so please spam it to your fr...

Great work! I think you made some great choices to display the widely sounded talent of subsekt and give the mix also a some storyline. Offcourse I was stoked that my track had also the honors to be picked, and followed up the magical track from Hades... Thanks for that. That track round 49m is awes...

Re: meditative techno
solaris: I like the subtle sounds and the original rhythm, but in my opinion, It's to much alternative rythms on one track. Also I could recomend a little more action in composition; like some track muting or some breaks would be very welcome. Alpha waves: Nice track, I like how it sounds so bussy, ...

Re: Spin-off track
It's a good track, although I think the mix could be a bit better. There's quite a lot going on, and the mix sounds a bit muted, well, the bleeps do. The percussion is fine. I can hear that some of them are reverbed and some of them overlap frequencies giving some muddiness and as such things are n...

Re: Spin-off track
Thanks for listening StacieAnne - Sasemoi! Those bleeps and beeps where doubts at the first place... I always tend to get my tracks loaded with different sounds, cause i'm anxious for the tracks to get boring. Here's the downside of it I guess!
