Re: Nearfield Monitors
Finally I had to keep my money because of all the problems with Brexit/Covid... France got lockdown and culture is over so I can't find any job since my post last year.. I probably will stay with my Adam A8X a little bit more and maybe buy some shitbox like Avantone Cubemix to compare quickly. Or ke...

Re: Synths With Great Filters & Mods.
I've just bought the OB6 this months, my first hardware polysynth with keys and i'm blown. The X-MOD section is super wild because of the nature of the filter. I have the MS20 (mini) that you talk about and did had a desktop Evolver that I just sell last months. Got a Sherman Filterbank too, complet...

Re: Nearfield Monitors
Neumann is a bit too much for my wallet atm... Actually I changed my working space 5 days ago to continue working while the coronavirus is doing is things and my ADAM are doing better now. I'm still actually looking to upgrade my monitors but it's not a priority if it's working better. I think I wil...

Re: Nearfield Monitors
Yes I have contacted them earlier, really fast response from them. They told me to contact the seller where I bought them, the problem is that I've discard the original box. Fuck me I wasn't aware earlier (I've actually only discard one pair of original box, and that's the Adam's one...). I was look...

Re: Nearfield Monitors
Thanks Steve for the reply, I will try to check later if some retailers in my area got them on expo. Do you think that the gap between them and the A8X will be worth it ? Or should I consider myself already good and bought a second pair of A8X ? I was really looking to buy something more precise and...

Re: UAD Oto Biscuit emulation for 125 € - is it worth it?
Hey ! For the plugin, actually I don't have it but I've the real Oto Biscuit and I see that the plug share the same engine. The sound is perfect, inverted bit is super cool and I personally use it on every project I do. I think it's a real great investment, the possibilities are insane and the sound...

Re: Acid sound...? - From "The Traveller" by nthng
Hey, I know that nthng is using volca's samplers, tr08 and a MS20 mini. The sound actually looks like a typical acid bassline to me. There is many vst clone of 303 for free or really cheap on the internet, it's not that hard to find something similar just experiment, but it sound kind of basic to me...

Re: Free Soundtoys Tremolo and Tremolo Production Techniques
Hey !
Usually I use tremolo to put some tension on a pad. I layer the original one with something more distorted and play with the dry/wet of the tremolo to put some movement. Sometimes it give me really Nice results
