Re: Reverb 2022

I'm sort of addicted to reverbs. My favorite hardware reverb is Neunaber Immerse MKII. My favorite software reverb currently is Baby Audio Crystalline - which is sort of like VintageVerb on steroids. Highly recommended. Have you tried a lot of other hardware reverbs? Yeah. I’ve used Strymon Big Sky...

Re: What video games are you folks playing?

Currently playing the Hitman reboot trilogy. First one was fun but too repetitive. Second one was much better. Third one is sublime. Best mission so far is in a club modeled after Berghain where, among other things, you can subdue and impersonate the DJ.

Re: Korg release Wavestate and Opsix Plugins

This was a big deal for me, as I've been eyeing the Korg OpSix since it came out. You get the plugin for $50 if you have the hardware, and I still had a gift certificate the missus gave me for my bday at a local synth shop, so I bought the hardware and plugin. Short of things is, I'm in love with th...

Re: Pedals

How good are tape delay pedals? My first priority is to slap my 909 BDs into them for saturation. Basically, I want to dial my input knob as high as possible for nice saturation. Tape delay pedals are just meant for dealys though right? Do any pedals do what I want to do? Your best bet for pedal ba...

Re: Ollo S4X Reference Headphones

Ok, I`ve had long enough with these to decide if I want to keep them or return them in the 30 day no questions asked money back. Would you consider these strictly an upgrade on the 701s or more of an alternative/sidegrade? I know those really well by now and would prefer to keep working with them. ...

Just picked up a Strymon Dig, which is more or less the perfect digital delay.

Re: Life changing albums

For me it's got to be these: Joy Division - Closer The Cure - Disintegration Slowdive - Souvlaki My Bloody Valentine - Loveless Herbie Hancock - Headhunters Aphex Twin - Selected Ambient Works 2 Plastikman - Sheet One (yeah he's a yacht techno douche now, but this blew my mind when I first heard it)...

Just ordered this bad boy: youtu.be/nKywQ_j_cio

Parallel multi-modulation madness. Mono only, unfortunately, but not the end of the world.

Re: Ollo S4X Reference Headphones

Do you use Sonarworks, CanOpener or Realphones too? I Downloaded the Curve Comparison of the Oppo and they compare pretty good to other HP on Paper. For me and my SRH840 Shure, never ever without Sonarworks, but when i heared the DT990 of my Pal i wasnt really satisfied with Sonarworks on and prefe...

Re: Behringer Pro-1

Strongly endorse Repro. It's one of my favorite plugins. More focused than Diva but also can sound dirtier. Basically a pristine Pro-1 and Prophet 5 coupled with lots of additional sound design tools.
