If you are broke, download some free drum synths and make your own drums. FM synthesis is awesome for percussion. Make your own drums anyway, or search and steal samples from films and shit Do it the old school way, find shit, record shit, hit shit, sample shit, resample shit, mangle shit. Preset, ...

Cheers for all the suggestions, think I've figured out that its not my samples that are the problem, it's the way im using them that ends up sounding a bit stale.

Sidechained eq, compression, grooves and effects have helped me get a bit more of a natural sound now.
