Re: One year with tinnitus- a warning and some info....

Just to chime in, lack of b12 is another cause of it. I started b12 shots earlier this year due to fatigue and it made so much different to my tinnitus. I've not had any for a while and it's back now that the number of shots I've been having has decreased. b12 deficiency really is a hidden epidemic...

Move it on, honestly.

Sure get a loop going but move it on as soon as you have. Slam it in arrange mode. Make an intro, get the track going, switch some shit up, have a breakdown if you want one, change shit again and then wind it down.

Bish, bash, bosh.

Re: My hats

I think I've fixed it, well with the help of Twitter - my constant place to expel my instant rage at things. I fucked about with the attack and they sound LOADS better. They were too sharp sounding and I couldn't soften them. Nothing else could make them sit proplely within the mix. Yes, Ben, I felt...

My hats

Elo Subsekt, I can't even begin to describe the issues I've been having with my hats, for years now. I can never get them sounding quite right. I just was playing on my Digitakt and then recorded in the hats I'd made with Overbridge (spaff) and now they are in a DAW, they just sound SHIT. What the h...

Re: Favourite stories

I've got to agree with Mr Robot. Also, this might tickle you... I've been playing a live techno remix of Phil Collins: Take Me Home, in my live PA's for the last couple of years. As a Mr Robot fan I hope you remember the scene that was featured in. It's one that always meant a lot to me as an anarc...

Re: Favourite stories

I've got to agree with Mr Robot. It was beyond the full package for me. I've never known anything like it and the twists and turns were beyond comprehension in places. Horizion Zero Dawn was a fucking excellent story as well. One that really, really got me was The Last Guardian game. It's a few yea...

I frigging love this mix. I don't know if this is the kind of vibe you're after but I've taken much enjoyment from this.

Re: Elektron Digitakt 1.2 and Digitone 1.3 Updates

I've just used Overbridge for the first time and I'm honestly in shock. It's frigging awesome. I'm SO excited to actually make some music now with it without the hassle of awkwardly recording it. Having each of the tracks so easily accessible is just dreamy.

Wowweeeee!!! Subskekt, you've totally delivered. You really have. Thank you! There's some actual gold in here. I am going to try all of these things. I'm so keen at the moment to try some new things and ways of working. I'd been thinking about what I've been doing that I've been finding hard. I thin...

Looking for my way back.

Evening Gentlefolk of Subsekt, I don't have a specific question but a broader issue I've been struggling with. I really feel like I've lost my way and like I've forgotten how to make the music I want to make and It's not as simple as just go and make it. I feel like I've been doing the same things I...

YES! I'm learning to teach Yoga via Zoom! It's been brilliant so far, a wonderful break from everything that's been happening. I'm intending to start a new music project as well. Managed to open Ableton the other night but it crashed and I lost my work. I wish I had my handpan, I let my friend borro...

Re: Why Do You Make Music?

it seems that for everybody here, thats the music that found them. Music is a catharsis to me, the only way I can channel negative emotions and accept them because music makes them beautiful And maybe the reason why it appeals to so many people is that sound speaks the universal language I recommen...
