Re: RME or UAD?
I‘m an UAD user for around 5 years. Their interfaces are top notch. The blackface Apollo or the new Apollo Twin mk2 got new converters, which are just perfect. But there’s only one reason to prefer UAD (instead of RME) in my opinion. If you‘re looking for their vintage plugins, which are expensive b...

Re: Acoustic Treatment Help ?
So....... it's worth doing basic treatment, to a good level, it will help loads. Thanks a lot for that post! I'm in the situation where I've spent around 1.500€ (or more) on acoustic treatment, and I'm considering to invest more. My room isn't ideal (as are most). 2,50m width, 5,56m length and 3,25...

Re: Modular Synthesiser Discussion
Metropolis is a neat sequencer. I love it. I'm using the Ryo Penta to modulate it via the aux inputs. Beatstep Pro ist also nice. Especially since you can use it to sequence your daw, too. The trigger outputs are pretty helpful for modular stuff, of course. Last but not least I like the Turing machi...

Re: Doubt about UAD Apollo
The USB3 version works only with Windows. Their Thunderbolt interfaces are compatible with Win and MacOS.
I'm using the Apollo 8 with a Windows desktop and a MacBook Pro and I can't happier with it. Their UAD plugins are just top notch. They are expensive, yes, but just wait for their sales.

Re: Plugin Synths
You should check out the u-he stuff. Tyrell is for free, Diva is one of the most analogue sounding VSTs out there (and is pretty versatile) and Hive is an nice alternative for Sylenth. It's in Open-Beta at the moment (until the end of march, i think). So you have enough time to test it.
