Yeah, not going to stop making anything I wouldn't call it "Old School", id just say it sticks to the core ideal of what a bit of Techno should be.

I dont see how higher tempos can be related to kicks. Its not like there aren't other types of music which banged without the tempo. I think Liebing meant the kicks hid the loops that he were using.

And on the subject of tempo, tempo isnt related to mood.
