Re: mid bass donk
I don't get much time in the studio at the minute to mess around with sound design but I will try the recommendations here. I had thought it sounded like a garage bass type sound in a higher octave. Thanks.

Re: Ambivalent Ableton track
Nice one Ttinga dude, PM sent I like having the project files of good tracks, it is the best way to learn IMO when you get past the basics. I learn much more from such projects than hours of watching tutorials.

Ambivalent Ableton track
Hey guys, I only came across this today and was devastated to find out that the Ableton set is only available via the Octopus Records website and the link is now dead :(. I have messaged Kevin (Ambivalent) and Sian at Octopus to see if they can reup or provide a link somewhere else. In the meantime ...

Re: 3 finished tracks need a home...
Thanks for listens, I prefer to spend my time making music rather than promoting, best case scenario was to send to 20 labels and hope one takes which unfortunately didn't happen. I will try again, uploading the full tracks to private again and will pick 20 smaller labels. I know there is no money t...

Re: 3 finished tracks need a home...
Thanks for listening, I had the full tracks as private and sent links to mostly bigger labels, I think the private tracks were listened to 2 or 3 times with no responses. But surely having a clip of the track on your main page is better than nothing? I have had tracks signed in the past due to label...

3 finished tracks need a home...
Hi guys, I did these 3 techno tracks last year and I sent them to a number of labels without a response (I guess around 10-20 labels, can't really remember!). Anyway, I had a break from production after getting no responses on these tracks. I've started production again and am looking for a home for...

Re: New members say hello...
Hi folks, I used to hang out at Sonic Academy forums and recognise a few names from there. I also go under the names Kieran Mach and Stonefish. Been into dance music since the early 90s and even though there are genres that make me cringe there are always some great tracks in every genre. When DJing...

I have to be fair and say that some of the vids in the other thread are good, I liked Arcs use of the reverse bass verb technique.

Re: Vibrating sub bass?
You can't have been looking that hard. There is a thread full of video tutorials at the top of this forum. The reverb bass technique is definitely in there. Read this forum, get involved and you'll learn over time. I maybe should have made myself clearer but I meant that I couldn't find many techno...

Re: Vibrating sub bass?
It`s like riding your first bicycle, mastering this skill is techno basics. There are probably a ton of tutorials online, and more than likely if you search this forum it has been covered a fair few times. I have watched hundreds of hours of tutorials, both paid and free for various dance genres, a...
