Re: Computer based live pa/set/act tempo changes.
I have another question regarding computer based live PA and dont want to spam topics on the forum with my questions. So here it go : What spec does a laptop needs to do this kind of thing? I need to buy a laptop. I already have a self-built computer with a 3770K watercooled decently clocked CPU wit...

It's sad there's no more techno coming from you, i listen to your live PA daily these days. It's totally top notch.

Re: Computer based live pa/set/act tempo changes.
Well I've done some very long sets with tempo changes. You can assign your minimum and maximum tempo to a controller and move it gradually over the set to bring up the tempo. I`ve done it that way. I also used to do a house into techno live PA where I just had a little ambient break between the set...

Computer based live pa/set/act tempo changes.
Hi, Ok so, let's say there is a part of a one hour-ish clip launching and knob twiddling of audio of my own design that is at a higher of lower tempo than the rest of the set. Now the thing is how do i get from let's say 128 bpm to 140bpm? I have a few solutions in mind but i'm not sure i'm heading ...

Re: Static ambience loop audio crossfading.
What hades said, It's not to avoid a pop or clic, it's to make it loop like a charm like when you do a long sampler note with the crossfade enable in tha ableton's sampler. I ended up making the crossfade manually in session view with 2 audio tracks and clip edge fades and then i resampled it. Job d...

Re: Stereo image and EQ on top loops.
Do you guys use reverbs on hats and very high frequency rich percussive elements? If you do , how and how much? IF you plan on playing live do you use less reverb on those?

Static ambience loop audio crossfading.
Ok so, let's say i have made a basic ambience with a firled recording, some reverb and delays and whatnot. It is pretty static ( it dosnt modulate alot ). The said texture lasts about 1 minute and is rendered in audio. Ok now the thing is i want this audio thing to crossfade so it can loop and i wil...

Stereo image and EQ on top loops.
Hey guys, I'm having a hard time with my hats. I'm struggling to make them wide. How do you guys usually proceed? If i try the delay ( 1ms left , 10 ms right, all wet ) trick it usually sounds like trash somehow. Do you layer them one left and one right? I understrand most people keeps the stereo im...
Re: Berlin
I so would like to be in Berlin for Berlin Atonal. :/
It's the best line up i'v seen all year.
If only i had about 1000-1500$ cad i could make it provided that i stay sober for the whole thing.

Re: Filters
I'v been struggling to get decent feedback as well. The simplest of distortion pedals run through a mixer aux will give you great aggressive and 'alive' sounding feedback. I'm torn wether or not to buy an ebow for my guitar or go with a violin bow. Get both, ebow's are amazing lots of my guitarist ...

Ankleplants aint bad at all. He has released some stuff on Detroit Underground. IF you guys dont know about that label check it out it's awesome. It hits the perfect balance between a IDM and a Techno label.
That being said.... enough dick talk now common hahaha

Re: Filters
I<ll look into the ohmforce. I'v played electric guitar with tube amps and hardware distortion for a very very long time and while the software for distortion is bad it's not quite the same thing as the real thing. Not that the software is inferior ; it's just different. I'v been struggling to get d...
